Plump Up Your Buttocks with a Brazilian Butt Lift

Want to know what the great thing about a Brazillian butt lift is? The procedure uses your own body fat to enhance your butt. So, you don’t have to deal with any foreign or unnatural substances in your body.

And that’s great, because, well, we don’t have to tell you just how very in butts are right now. At DiGeronimo MD Advanced Plastic Surgery right here in Miami, Florida,, Dr. Ernest and our team are here to provide you with a wealth of options for all of your cosmetic needs. That’s why we’ve compiled this helpful guide to everything you’d need to know about Brazillian butt lifts.

What is a Brazillian butt lift?

With a Brazillian butt lift, you can get a perfectly shaped butt without resorting to harmful implants. The procedure works by taking fat from one part of your body, like your abdomen and your back, and transferring it to another part, namely, your butt.

Also called fat grafting, this procedure works in a few steps. First, we take fat from all over your body from areas where you don’t want it, like your back, your love handles, and your belly.

We then purify the fat and prepare it for injection. During your procedure, which is performed under local anesthetic, we then inject the fat into your buttocks, which gives you a perfectly contoured and rounded figure.

The term “butt lift” is really a misnomer. Unlike, say, a breast lift, which physically lifts your breasts, a Brazillian butt lift doesn’t actually physically lift your butt. Instead it enhances it and makes your butt look naturally enhanced.

Are you a candidate for a butt lift?

With a Brazillian butt lift, you need to have enough fat in other areas of your body to inject into your butt. You’re more likely to see better results if you do, so don’t despair if you’re carrying a few extra pounds.

You’ll also want to know at the outset that the procedure does require you to keep pressure off of your butt for the first three weeks following surgery. While you can still use the bathroom, you won’t be able to sit or lie on your butt for prolonged periods of time.

And while you may experience some discomfort, bruising, and swelling, a butt lift is a safe outpatient procedure overall.
