Our doctors and staff also wear specialized masks, face shields, and gloves to ensure as safe an environment as possible. We check our temperatures as well and we make sure that we don’t come in if we’re experiencing any symptoms at all.
We’ve reassessed our cleaning protocols and our daily sterilization routines so that we can reduce your risk of exposure and infection as much as possible in these times. We’ve scheduled more cleanings of our office throughout the day to ensure as sterile an environment as possible.
We’ve also put in place a patient flow plan that’ll allow for the proper amount of social distancing. We also check our patient’s temperatures and ask if you’ve been sick recently or have been around anyone sick when you come into our office.
We’ve also been offering telehealth appointments via video chat software whenever possible. We also send your paperwork electronically, via email or fax, so that you don’t have to come in to fill it out, decreasing your risk of exposure.
While elective surgery has become available again in this phase of our state’s reopening, our office and hospital are still taking extra precautions. We’re not allowing anyone else to come in with our patients except in the instances of parents and children.
